Trade fair review LIGNA 2023

After five successful days, the LIGNA, the world’s leading trade fair for tools, machines and systems for wood processing, ended in Hanover in May. In the outdoor area, SENNEBOGEN made its largest ever timber trade fair appearance and set the BIG TIMBER TRENDS for the timber handling industry with a total of three exhibits: From electrification to trailer solutions.

At the trade fair booth spanning over 500 m², international visitors were able to discover pioneering and efficient solutions for every task in the sawmill, log yard or for tree maintenance in close consultation with SENNEBOGEN employees and dealers.

The new, economical 735 GED Pick and Carry machine with electric travel drive, the 43 t 830 E mobile material handler with trailer and the 5.5 t 355 E telehandler equipped with tongs were presented.

Cooperation with HOLTEC: Exhibit 840 E in portal design

The 840 E portal version exhibited at the booth of the plant engineering specialist HOLTEC was definitely also an impressive green eye-catcher. In joint projects, HOLTEC and SENNEBOGEN implement gantry solutions for sawmills that simultaneously automate and optimize timber manipulation.
