For 25 years, BOOM has been the SENNEBOGEN magazine containing information for customers, distributors, employees and friends. The magazine is now published twice a year with a circulation of around 16,000 copies in German and English.
With the first edition of the BOOM in 1996, the foundation was laid for a total of 36 main issues and numerous other special issues to mark plant inaugurations and important trade fairs. The main theme of the first edition was the 65th birthday of company founder Erich Sennebogen sen. Also featured in the first edition was the presentation of the new Green Line product line, which began its success story at the time and now makes up the majority of SENNEBOGEN’s extensive product range.
The issues were initially published annually and predominantly outlined the company’s rapid development and growing dealership. While the latest information was initially published in the compact A4 four– pager, the BOOM changed to a generous newspaper format from 2001. The previously somewhat irregular publication was also set at twice a year. From then on, the readers were able to follow the diverse areas of application of cranes and material handlers worldwide. As the majority of the publications covered illustrated jobsite reports and customer portraits. A "last but not least page" traditionally focused on internal company topics.
Parallel to the layout change to a handy magazine format, the content surrounding a large number of specialist and company topics, as well as interviews and insights into production and development, was fundamentally restructured from 2018.
Since 2019, the BOOM has also been available online in digital format. Following another minor layout adjustment to Boom in 2020 in the current MOVE BIG THINGS CI, the 2021 anniversary edition really is something to be proud of.
However, what has not changed at all in 25 years is that all editorial content and the layout are 100% made by SENNEBOGEN and each edition remains a challenge with tight schedules and last-minute changes.
The BOOM team hopes you enjoy reading our anniversary edition.
