With the SENNEBOGEN 613 the crane manufacturer from Lower Bavaria offers a machine design that other manufacturers are looking for. With a load capacity of up to 16 t and an 18 m telescopic boom the 613 mobile crane is an indispensable component on every building site. At a railway construction site in Hanover the machine is used for lifting activities and logistics tasks at Echterhoff Bau-Gruppe. The compact and versatile design and operation by remote control are only some of the features why the green crane is always relied upon.
"This crane is simply unique", explains Jens Müller, head of machine technology at Echterhoff Bau Gruppe. "When it comes to such a flexible and powerful telescopic crane, there is no equivalent - at least for us it is the perfect machine for the various requirements in structural engineering and infrastructure projects." This refers to the current SENNEBOGEN 613 mobile of the E series. Fitted with a 3-part telescopic boom , loads with a reach of up to 18.8 m can be safely moved. Therefore the driver can choose to either control the crane from the raised Multicab cab or to operate the machine from outside by remote control. This version is being used ever more frequently and the benefits are clear: the driver can therefore operate the crane with one hand and can also adjust and place the load on the hook. One man - one machine - this means that time is not only saved and safe to operate, but a person can also unload trucks alone or lift material from the storage location.
In Hanover Echterhoff is renewing the subways and buildings along the railway track, which is a challenging task as a crane is always required for many lifting tasks at various places. The SENNEBOGEN 613, with its mobile undercarriage and all-wheel drive and 4-point claw support, can not only be moved very quickly from one site to the next, but long distances between building sites can be covered thanks to having road approval. The necessary spatial conditions are particularly low with a machine width of 2.55 m and a support width of 4.0 m. Therefore the telescopic crane has become a sought-after machine in inner city areas. At the same time Echterhoff is using the SENNEBOGEN crane to load and unload material at the storage location, thus the machine can also handle goods under load. In accordance with the current emissions guideline tier 4 final, the SENNEBOGEN 613 M has a powerful 92 kW diesel engine and a 35 kN crane winch. In the redesigned Multicab the driver has a pleasant and ergonomic working environment and can operate the cab continuously at a height of 1.75 m.
