TOC has been the annual meeting place for the port and logistics sector since 1976. On its 40th anniversary, the industry event is taking place in Hamburg, Germany. SENNEBOGEN will be showing its extensive product range of port cranes and material handlers over an area of 35 m². With the SENNEBOGEN 870 and 850 of the E-Series, the focus is on two modern material handlers with an energy recovery system.
SENNEBOGEN's comprehensive machine range of port cranes and material handlers offer the right solution for every job and individual handling situation. With a maximum safe working load of 8 t and a range of 25 m, the 870, for example, impresses not only with a convenient working radius but with a multitude of equipment variants as well. The same holds true for the new 850: Flexibility is the key. With various cab elevations and undercarriage variants, the machines can be individually configured.
The innovative Green Hybrid energy recovery system is the latest development and is fitted to both the SENNEBOGEN 875 and the new 850 and 870. This system has been proven through initial customer use across the globe. An energy recovery cylinder mounted on the boom in between the two hoist cylinders offsets the weight of the boom in its function, significantly reducing energy costs up to 30%. This additional hydraulic cylinder stores the energy produced when the boom is lowered, in compressed gas cylinders placed in the rear of the machine. This accumulated energy is then provided during the next stroke. The principle is similar to a spring being compressed and then releasing its energy when it is allowed to expand.
Visit SENNEBOGEN from 14 June to 16 June at the TOC trade fair in Hamburg, Germany at booth B46 and learn more about our product innovations.
