With the new Powerpack SP100, SENNEBOGEN offers a convenient solution for moving electric machines regardless of the location. The mobile energy station feeds up to 119 kW power into the hydraulic system and enables operation of an electric machine independently of a contiguous power supply.
Thus SENNEBOGEN offers electric propulsion, in addition to conventional diesel propulsion for virtually all machines. The advantages are lower energy costs and lower operating costs for the customer. Previously the extensive provision of infeed stations was necessary in order to variably move an electrical machine on the quay or scrapyard.
Now, effective immediately, wherever a contiguous power supply is not available the Powerpack SP100 comes into play as an additional option for bridging the movement distance. The 119 kW Cummins diesel engine supplies the drive output of crawler or material handling units, which otherwise are powered by electric motors.
To do this, the Powerpack is mounted on the undercarriage or pulled afterwards on a trailer and connected to the appropriate hydraulic consumers via quick-release couplings and directional valves. The movement and undercarriage functions are operated conveniently and safely via remote radio control. The new SENNEBOGEN control and monitoring system, SENCON, also harmonizes perfectly with the optional Powerpack.
