Making space for new things – the SENNEBOGEN 818 in demolition work
It is often necessary to get rid of the old to build something new. In this case it was an old printing works that had to be expertly demolished.
Due to the extremely tight conditions in the hall, Recuperaciones Nieto chose a SENNEBOGEN 818 with 9 m boom and 2.5 t demolition shears. A somewhat unusual combination, which was tested beforehand with outstanding results.
The enormous stability, high loads and manoeuvrability in the hall make the 818 the optimal solution to meet the requirements of the Spanish company, which now operates three scrap yards and an extensive machine park. Recuperaciones Nieto uses the machine on the site in Getafe mainly to demolish HGVs and industrial scrap in the hall or on the outdoor site. The team led by company owner Antonio Nieto is completely impressed by the performance and practice-oriented solutions offered by the SENNEBOGEN 818.
