In the new training year, SENNEBOGEN was able to recruit a total of 44 new trainees in the two Straubing plants and in Wackersdorf. The family-owned company currently offers training in 17 industrial and commercial professions. The range of apprenticeships is constantly growing and extends from mechatronics to IT specialists.
Large machines, modern technology and a worldwide range of applications - with cranes and handling excavators made in Straubing and Wackersdorf, SENNEBOGEN, as a family business, is one of the most innovative companies in Eastern Bavaria. Whether they have an interest in technology, an aptitude for communication or a talent for administration, apprentices at SENNEBOGEN can give free rein to their abilities and play an active role. With 17 commercial and industrial apprenticeships, SENNEBOGEN offers a wide range of apprenticeships, from warehouse logistics specialist, technical product designer to industrial clerk and IT specialist. Every year, new apprentices are sought for all professions. For 44 young people, last Tuesday marked the start of the new training year with an apprenticeship at SENNEBOGEN - a completely new stage in their lives after school.
The managing directors Thorsten Resch and Alexander Scherer welcomed the young junior staff members personally on their first day and wished them much success, perseverance and interesting experiences in the exciting apprenticeships. They were pleased about the impressive number of young professionals who kept the company young and dynamic. Before starting work, the first priority was to get to know the company and the new colleagues. In the course of a joint introductory event, the newcomers were first presented with the company and then, during the subsequent tour of the plant, they were given a closer look at the handling excavators and cranes that are produced at the various locations.
During the up to 3.5-year training program, the young trainees learn the basics of metal processing as well as assembly and final acceptance of the machines, for example as production mechanics. As mechatronics engineers, they will learn about automation and programming, among other things, and experience the basic knowledge of metalworking. In addition, 15 other apprenticeships are offered. Incidentally, SENNEBOGEN currently employs a total of around 130 trainees at its Bavarian locations in Straubing & Wackersdorf.
