ABP Immingham the largest UK port by tonnage ( 55 million tonnes ) have recently taken delivery of a new SENNEBOGEN 875 Mobile port material handler supplied by E H Hassell and Sons.
“We were impressed by the “total package” of the SENNEBOGEN machine, in particular the simplicity of the product from a service and operators point of view. We were also very interested in the Green hybrid energy recovery system which will save us fuel and therefore money over time.” commented Steve Williams – General Manager – ABP Immingham.

Hassell & Sons Ltd., added at the official handover, "Our goal is always to give the customer the perfect solution for their specific requirement and application. In summary this SENNEBOGEN 875 is fitted with 27 m reach, four-axle wide-gauge mobile undercarriage, large outrigger pads, 2 metre pylon, spacious port cab ( with additional trainers seat ), energy recovery system, special sea climate paint and cylinder protection, quick release coupler with built in rotator, timber spreader, 20 ton hook and clamshell grab.
We also arranged for ABP’s service technicians to attend service training course’s at the SENNEBOGEN training academy in Straubing around a month prior to delivery, also once assembled on site at Immingham, we ensured product familiarization took place with ABP training instructors”
