Michael Wolf OHG, the disposal and recycling specialists located in Straubing, Germany, rely on a new SENNEBOGEN 818 M of the current E-Series for the sorting and loading of recycling materials. The new material handling machine convinces with compact dimensions and the best energy-efficiency values.
It had to be a SENNEBOGEN, that was clear right from the start for Carolin and Heinz Wolf of the recycling and disposal enterprise, Michael Wolf. Not only because the machine builder manufactures its cranes and material handling machines in Straubing just a few kilometers from the recycling site, but also because they are committed by the quality made in Germany. Founded in 1905 as a haulage firm, the family-run enterprise, Wolf, has been active in the disposal industry since 1977. The certified, complete disposal service provider is a single source for recycling solutions for all materials from scrap wood to paper and plastics, extending to workshop disposal and special waste recycling. Since March 2014 the new SENNEBOGEN 818 E-Series completes the vehicle fleet. Equipped with a reliable 97 kW diesel engine and mobile undercarriage, the compact material handling machine moves quickly and flexibly over the entire site. Whether the task is sorting and loading industrial wastes, or feeding the plastic shredder, the 818 M is always the equipment of choice.
Wolf has been operating this shredder since 2006 in order to produce regranulate for new plastic from correctly sorted foil and plastics. The challenge associated with the machine design was the low ceiling height of just 7 m for filling the shredder hopper. With the equipment length of 8 m and compact machine dimensions of 2.50 m in width and 4.80 m in length, the new 818 M seems custom made for the confined indoor implementation.
Operator Falko Wolf has particular praise for the comfortable maXcab that can be elevated to a height of 5.60 m. Thus a direct view into the containers and over the entire work area is ensured - a valuable contribution toward greater work precision and maximum safety for man and machine.
In daily operation the additional outrigger pad, in particular, has quickly paid for itself. Thus materials can be pushed together easily and precisely. Thanks to the broad support surface the machine is extremely stable in operation with two support claws and pad. Moreover the robust design reliably keeps sharp scrap parts away from the tires.
The 818 E-Series also sets standards in the areas of energy efficiency and ease of maintenance. State-of-the-art Green Efficiency Technology supports the operator in his work and offers fuel savings of up to 25%, thanks to automatic RPM reduction, Start-Stop automation and Eco-Mode fuel. Massive cylinders and high-quality components guarantee maximum safe working loads, even under continuous load and fast work cycles. Thanks to central measuring points and a clearly organized arrangement, regular service tasks are quickly executed.
Statements:
"It is not only the green color that is a perfect match for us, in particular, the high quality of this machine, made in Germany, convinced us right from the start. With the new SENNEBOGEN 818 M we expect a significant increase in the efficiency of our material handling and sorting processes." Carolin Wolf, Wolf Entsorgung
"Having a good overview and the ergonomic work environment are what particularly count for me as operator. Both are provided in a perfect manner by the comfortable Maxcab that can be elevated 2.70 m." Operator Falko Wolf
