The SENNEBOGEN 850 Crawler Special with an operating weight of 95 tonnes, will be in the high-performance material handling for bulk goods in the harbour at Varna, Bulgaria.

Since the foundation in October 1991, approximately 20,000 hydraulic cranes and material handling units have been sent out in Wackersdorf. The SENNEBOGEN work Wackersdorf is now specialised in the production of "Green-Line" material handling machines in mobile-, crawler- and special versions.

The foundation philosophy for the development of the "Green-Line" was not to produce modified standard machines but optimally adapted and high quality units for the special requirements of material handling. Today, SENNEBOGEN provides the largest range of products in this domain with machines of from 22 to over 270 t operating weights. These machines are impressive around the world, in many different applications, with their quality, reliability and performance. Only last year, the 1,000th "Green-Line" machine was delivered to America from Wackersdorf.

The previous, heaviest machine from the SENNEBOGEN facility in Wackersdorf is an 850 Crawler Special with a operating weight of 95 tonnes. The management thanked the crew at Wackersdorf for their excellent performance and their dedication. This machine was delivered to Varna, Bulgaria. Varna is the traffic hub of the region with its international airport and operates the largest harbour in Bulgaria. Approximately 8 million tonnes of material is handled there per year. The SENNEBOGEN 850 Crawler Special was equipped with orange-peel and clam-shell grabs for the job and has a 21.5 m reach in the general bulk goods area to prove its efficiency. A SENNEBOGEN 850 Mobile has also recently been successfully introduced to the work at the harbour in Varna and is an equally powerful partner with the 850 Crawler Special. The work in Straubing and the one under construction in Straubing-Sand are able to successfully and economically manufacture large cranes and handling machines of weights up to 270 tonnes. SENNEBOGEN implements four works for this, two in Straubing, one in Wackersdorf and one in Hungary. The latter is a successfully and high-quality supplier of steel constructions.
